So - What's the Answer?

"The answer to what" you say. Well, you know - the answer to those nagging questions of life that we all ask from time to time. How did I get here? What is my purpose in life? Why is there so much evil in the world? What's going to happen to me when I die? Well, the answers to all of those questions - in one way or another - are found in God. There is a book about God, written by God Himself, though he used men to actually do the work. It's a book that we used to revere and respect very highly in America, but unfortunately that is no longer the case - as was clearly demonstrated when we removed it from our public schools over fifty years ago. The book to which I refer, of course, is the Bible - The Word of God. The Bible tells us in the early chapters of Genesis that not only did God create the heavens and the earth, but he created man as well. Instead of man obeying and honoring God, however, he chose to disobey God and disregard God's commands. This is how evil entered the world. Man lost his way - his focus and purpose for living - which is to glorify God in all he says and does. If you read and study the entire Bible, however, you discover that God did not give up on mankind. God loves us immensely and gave His Son Jesus Christ to die in our place, bearing God's judgment for sin in our place. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He suffered as our substitute, we can have our relationship with God restored so that we need not fear death and the coming judgment that awaits most of mankind. As Jesus arose from the grave (which is what we celebrate on Easter), those who put their faith in Him will one day do the same and live eternally in heaven with Him. Would you like to have a genuine relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ? Would you like to become a child of God and escape the judgment that the Bible says is surely coming on all those who reject God and His Son Jesus Christ? If so, click here to see for yourself what the Bible has to say on these matters.
